My paintings, non-representational in inception, engage with visual rhythms of colour, shape, gesture, and mark.
From simple mark making, the paintings develop through arbitrary working processes.
The working surface being a physical, and visual, arena for each painting in realising its visual composition.
My working process, defined on each page of works, revolves around shape, colour, gesture, and mark.
